Structural steel fabrication for Victoria Cross Railway station platforms

Victoria Cross Station is an underground station currently being constructed (8/8/19), about 31 metres below ground level, located in the heart of the North Sydney business district.

The NSW Government has awarded Lendlease a $476 million contract to deliver the new metro railway station and the building above it.

As a part of this major project, Toolmann has been awarded the contract for the manufacturing of the German made metal stremaform® framing/caging product for the construction of the railway station platforms.  The work involved pre-fabrication of large structural frames and components ready to install on-site as well as facia and aethestitic panels.

Stremaform® a product made in Germany by MAX FRANK allows formwork elements for working joints divide large structural components into individual concreting sections.
